Is Getting Out of
Credit Card Debt A Top Priority For You?
With the advent of
the 2009 recession, credit card defaults have been
sweeping across the country, getting out of credit card
debt has never been more important to stabilize
American’s financial security.
When
trying to get out of credit card debt these are the
options most people think of
first:
§
Call the credit
card company to see if there is some structured plan they can
offer, with perhaps a lower interest rate and lower monthly
payments. Only to find that no matter what you can work out
they have you exactly where they want. You’re stuck on the
credit card treadmill, paying thousands in interest payments
with no end in sight.
§
At this point most
people give up and throw in the towel thinking bankruptcy is
their only choice. And are shocked once they realize the full
effect of a bankruptcy, a damaging credit report for up to ten
years, a lifelong public record and the control that a trustee
of the court system has over their
life.
§ Next is to apply for a debt consolidation
loan to pay off the credit cards in hopes of getting a lower
monthly payment, only to find out getting the loan will not be
an option because of too much outstanding credit card
debt.
§
The banks will direct you to
contact a consumer credit counseling program. Only to find out
the payments very often are equal to or greater than what
you’re currently paying to the credit card company’s monthly
minimums payments. Also credit counseling programs can last up
to 8 years, all the while if you miss a payment or two you can
be thrown off the program!
Does this sound like you? Have you
considered one or more of the options listed
above?
Are none of these options right
for you? Are you still in search of the “Right
Solution”?
Well there is good news, there
is another debt solution that is helping millions not only
get out of credit card debt much sooner but also save a lot
of money in the process.
This option is known as Debt
Negotiation
(Also referred to as debt settlement)
At FSLC we have been
helping thousands of hard working Americans save money and
get off the credit treadmill.
The majority of
Americans don’t have the skills, knowledge or time to
successfully negotiate a debt settlement. Many people think
since they have been a customer of the credit card company
for a long time they will be sympathetic to their situation
and give them a break.
We wish successfully
negotiating debt was that easy but the bottom line is it’s
not. To successfully negotiate a good settlement with your
creditors it takes many well thought out phone calls and
settlement proposals over time.
Debt
negotiations require the unpublished knowledge of the
policies and procedures of hundreds of companies regarding
how debt settlements are handled. A tactic that works with
one company could have the reverse effect and cause another
company to become more aggressive. It is imperative to know
when you are getting the best deal and when you are not,
only experience will give you this knowledge. Another often
over looked aspect of debt negotiation is having the proper
contacts within the credit card companies
themselves.
Since 2005,
the FSLC has been extending debt negotiation services to
Americans looking to resolve their debt situation in the
fastest amount of time for the least amount of money. Since
then we have negotiated and settled tens of thousands of
accounts. In doing so we've continued to expand and refine
the process and program that we believe to be one of the
very best in the country.
It starts with
our philosophy, which is one of "full disclosure.” That
means we are giving our potential clients the entire story
up front, both the advantages and the potential
disadvantages of debt settlement and making every effort to
set the proper expectations upfront. We fully review your
unique financial situation to see if debt settlement is
right for you.
We welcome the
opportunity to learn more about your situation and together
we can determine if our debt negotiations program will be
able to help you resolve your current financial crisis and
get back on the road to financial freedom.
